Liverpool International Business Park

Completed in August 2016 L175 is the largest speculative warehouse building in Liverpool for almost a decade.

This 175,000 sq.ft speculative warehouse is positioned adjacent to John Lennon International Airport on Liverpool International Business Park. The ground conditions on site were extremely challenging and meant that the main building foundations were supported by vibro-compacted ground and the ground floor slabs were constructed on ground which had been improved by the use of lime/cement stabilisation techniques. The building is 12.5m to underside of haunch and contains 9,000sq.ft of office space over two storeys.

The decision was also made to lime/cement stabilise the external yards and car park areas to limit the amount of imported stone. This not only helped from a logistical point of view but also gained us vital BREEAM points.
