Paul Quirk Promoted to Board Director

SGi Consulting Engineers are proud to announce some positive news that Paul Quirk has been promoted onto the board of directors at SGi.

Paul has been with the group since 2005 as a Senior Engineer and has committed his professional working life over the past 16 years to not only become a fantastic engineer, but a brilliant team leader. In recent years Paul has built key relationships across the companies client base.

Within the company Paul has become the overall lead in our Structural Engineering section and is reshaping and strengthening the work force, concentrating on a ‘can do’ level of service offered to our clients.

Working at a small consultancy for 5 years, he decided to work for a larger company to work on more high value projects, with this, increasing his knowledge and gaining valuable experience.

In 2000 he moved to a consultancy in central Manchester and has never looked back. He qualified as a Chartered Structural Engineer in 2003 and has continued to work in the thriving city of Manchester.

Paul has always had the ambition to be part of the management of a civil and structural engineering company, and this month he fulfilled that ambition by progressing onto the board at SGi Consulting Engineers.

Paul says that our current forecast for the next two years is strong. ‘We are experiencing distinct changes within our work load, in particular it is clear to see that growth in the UK Logistics sector, and more recently in the Manufacturing sector, is providing a number of very exciting opportunities for us to expand.”
